"Brunch at Freo was absolutely amazing. My friends and I ordered pancakes, French toast, and waffles; even though the waffles didn’t make it into the photo, they were just as incredible. Every bite was rich with flavor and perfectly cooked. The service was equally impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We all left with happy hearts and full stomachs, already planning our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great food and warm hospitality."

"Cute place with friendly staff. I had the pulled pork benny, and it was quite good, with good portions of meat. If I return in the future I would perhaps try the normal benny or smoked benny, as they also looked quite good. Very clean place, that is quite busy on the weekends, so get there early! Our server was lovely and did a wonderful job. Overall, I would return."

"My friends and I decided to try Freo. There early so a table was available. We were greeted right away and made to feel welcome. I had the caramel latte and the mushroom and spinach Benny. Our other friend had the classic omlette. Eggs were poached right snd csme with a variety of potatoes for the hash. Food was prepared freshly, hot and plated nicely. Lots of flavor and enjoyed every bite. Stacy was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu."

"Such a great experience. We were in for a work breakfast celebration and it was fantastic. The Benny was cooked to perfection with plenty of hollandaise and the English muffin wasn’t soggy or hard but crisp enough on the bottom and soft enough on the top (a rare find these days). The hash browns were equally amazing with a crispy outside and soft inside. Service was top notch. And coffee refills were so quick I think I had 6 cups! Quality was so high and the atmosphere was sharp yet cozy. I will be back on my own and with the family."

"Wonderful new breakfast place in the neighborhood. Usually a bit of a wait as it gets busy but you just have to be out on the waitlist. Everything i have had there has been excellent. The smoothies are super refreshing and i definitely recommend the spinach & mushroom benny and smoked salmon benny. The matcha pancakes is totally worth the hype and its not too sweet and the panckaes were super fluffy and the mascapone cream did not makr it soggy either. My husband said the berry pancakes were the best he has ever had!"

"Dropped in on a random weekday for brunch and oh boy was i surprised!! My husband ordered mushroom omelette and I had eggs Benedict and a side of waffles. Everything tasted so fresh and yummy. They salad served as a side was one of the yummieat salads I have eaten. Im still dreaming about it. Soooo good. The service was great and everyone was really polite and kind!! Loved my visit here"

"Great place and location is handy. Food is prepared Well and crafted with respect. The eggs Benedict is unremarkable, but the other dishes I would say are considerable better. If you’re a benny fan, you will find the dish acceptable, but rather bland. Other dishes seems to be much better. You will also see from the photos that they are “light” on the has brown servings, they could be a little more generous there. Overall. I liked the location, the chairs were comfy, they seem to run a very clean shop. Staff was nice and responsive. I would have given them a 5 star if the eggs Benedict was better (which I think they could do if they reconsider the sauce for example). With that said, you are likely to enjoy the meal and the service, while not a perfect 5 stars this place has the potential to get there, I can respect what they have done and the obvious care and effort they apply."

"This is by far the best breakfast place in Calgary!! I have been here about half a dozen times and every single time it is amazing. The chorizo pepper omelet is my go to item packed with everything you want on a plate but today we split it and ordered their waffles. They did not disappoint!! Crispy on the outside and soft inside. We added the match cream on the side to try and love it. I cannot recommend this enough. And the staff!! Incredible talent. The manager is the sweetest and she is so kind. Best service. Good was hot, ready and delivered to our table in 20 minutes of sitting down. Every time we come it is unreal. If you are on the fence about coming here or if it’s far away from home the drive is worth it. We come all the way from Cochrane just to enjoy the chef’s delicious creations."
